Imaging Group of Delaware is a private practice radiology group providing imaging services for St. Francis Hospital's Department of Radiology. IGD is composed of board certified radiologists, most with fellowship and/or specialty training in areas such as body imaging, MRI, nuclear medicine and women’s imaging.

Our practice at St. Francis Hospital provides the full gamut of imaging and interventional services to the patients in the Wilmington area.

The members of IGD are also affiliated with Nazareth Imaging Associates, providing imaging services at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia.

The Department of Radiology at St. Francis Hospital features high field Seimens MRI, multi-detector CT scanner, a comprehensive ultrasound department (including a vascular lab), SPECT nuclear medicine, DEXA scanning, general radiography including mammography and digital angiography. The MRI, mammography and ultrasound sections are all accredited by the American College of Radiology. The ultrasound section is accredited for both general and vascular ultrasound.

The department utilizes PACS (picture archiving and communication system) which enables interpretation of all digital imaging modalities from computer monitors rather than x-ray film. This system provides for greater productivity and efficiency and allows physicians to access patient studies both within and outside of the hospital. We also use a voice recognition dictation system that provides rapid turnaround of imaging reports for our referring physicians and patients.
